Cherry Creek Bike Path/ Cherry Creek N DR & S Monaco

I recently did a shoot near the pond at the park located on the Cherry Creek Bike Path at Cherry Creek Dr S and S Monaco. I would avoid shooting in the direction of the power lines, but the playground, pond, and reeds all make great backdrops. The shoot took place on Aug. 30th during overcast conditions, so the lighting was not optimal and the grass not as green as I would have preferred, but the shoot still turned out pretty good. I would just recommend using this location earlier in the summer.

Location #1: Prospect Park (Arvada)

Prospect Park is a very versatile park with many areas to shoot in. There were a few baseball fields, a charming bridge, walking paths, a grassy area, and a river with mature landscaping.

I did an engagement session for a friend at this park. They chose the park and wanted it to be a very casual session in a place that is special to them. Here are a few examples from the shoot so that you might know if this is a good place for your next shoot!
